Charlie Young, General Manager
The General Manager of Western Sydney Conference Centre is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the venue’s operations, ensuring excellence in service, innovation, and guest experience. With a strong leadership approach and extensive industry expertise, they drive strategic growth, operational efficiency, and a culture of excellence.
Jo Naumovski , Director of Sales & Marketing
Jo Naumovski, Director of Sales & Marketing at Western Sydney Convention Centre, brings years of hospitality experience and a passion for creating events that truly "wow." She leads with innovation and expertise, ensuring WSCC remains a premier destination for conferences and events. With a keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach, Jo is dedicated to building strong partnerships.
Megan Hogan, Associate Director of Sales
Dedicated to driving visitation to Penrith and development of WSCC is Megan Hogan, who leads the Sales and Event Coordination team. Megan has a proven sales record during her 10 years at Panthers, making her an advocate for the thriving region. Personable and collaborative, she works closely with clients to deliver an event experience that far exceeds their expectations.
John Pugliano, Executive Chef
Chef John Pugliano, appointed in 2024, will elevate the culinary offerings at the adjoining Western Sydney Convention Centre, ensuring every event is defined by exceptional cuisine. With a wealth of experience from globally renowned establishments such as Nobu London, Langham’s Eaton HK, and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in the UAE, Pugliano brings a refined touch and innovative approach to the dining experience.
Arun Deepjung Giri, Event Operations Manager
Arun is dedicated to delivering seamless and exceptional event experiences. With extensive expertise in F&B operations across multiple outlets and a strong background in conference and event operations, he brings reliability, precision, and a commitment to excellence to every event. A natural leader, Arun's attention to detail and passion for exceeding client expectations ensure that every occasion at WSCC is flawlessly executed and truly memorable.
Panthers Group
Panthers Group is one of Australia’s largest entertainment groups, with over 125,000 members and 650 staff across New South Wales.
It operates the Penrith Panthers NRL team, five licensed venues, including the Western Sydney Convention Centre, as well as various community initiatives. Committed to giving back, the group has donated over $16.4 million in the past seven years to local charities and sporting programs.

The Western Sydney Convention Centre also proudly displays an Indigenous art collection celebrating the Dharug people’s rich heritage. Featuring works by renowned artists, it weaves stories of connection, tradition, and identity, honoring the enduring presence of Indigenous communities in Western Sydney.
